El Costeño Mexican Grill

Good but with a few changes, could be amazing. I got the super burrito lunch special, which was reasonably priced like most things on the menu. It was good but was almost entirely filled with meat which just made it a little boring. It would be better if they added rice & beans either to the dish itself or on the side to round out the meal a bit. The ambiance is good if you like watching sports, but otherwise wasn’t anything special. I would come back here to try other dishes.

An amazing restaurant tucked next to a gas station, this is a place must eat at least once. Savory, spiced chorizo and queso appetizer was the perfect starter. The super burrito was amazing, the mole sauce was very savory, the onions and chicken all fresh and the whole thing massive. If you are in roanoke,.make the trip up here!

I just had the Lunch Super Burrito and it was absolutely amazing! It comes covered in the most delicious mole sauce! Service was fast and friendly, prices were very reasonable, plenty of chips and salsa, and the restaurant was very clean. And they have beer and drinks, too. I will definitely return when I'm back in Roanoke!

This was my first time visiting this restaurant and I really enjoyed it. I came due to the great reviews. I normally just eat at Taquerias but for a restaurant I give it 5/5. They had unique menu options that were different from what you typically see at other chains. The service was good and fast. The vibe was very chill. The chips and salsa were good. There was a spicy salsa tomatillo that we requested. Chips were crispy and not stale. I ordered the Aye Wey! It came with carne asada, shrimp, cebollita, charred Serrano pepper, esquite (corn), 2 chicken enchiladas, rice and beans, and tortillas. The enchiladas were really good. Everything seemed fresh. None of my food was doused in cheese sauce. I even enjoyed the refried beans. The steak was a little heavy on the sodium but still good. The shrimps were great! Cooked perfectly and plump. We will definitely be back here and I recommend this restaurant.

Amazing authentic Mexican food. A hidden gem. Don't be fooled by the location. Best Mexican in town with the BEST freshly made guacamole.

Hot chips and salsa made my day on the cold weather. Great food and drinks. Mangorita is a must try. They also offered virgin pinacolodo for the kids.
